Deaths of women who travel by trains have turned out to be something ‘not-so-new’ to Malayalis now. Inspite of the hue and cry, officials preffered turning their backs at this. But now, finally, it looks like we are having a solution to this dilemma. The news that Southern Railway has strengthened the security measures for the ladies compartment has come out as news more thrilling and happier.
Along with the guards keeping a close watch on the ladies compartment, we shall also have more security personals put up near this compartment to take care of ladies (especially towards the last station when the compartment would also be empty). RPF staff shall work from morning till night, guarding the compartments, and 24 trains in the state shall avail this facility. More to come, the doors shall be mended and made sure that they are latched so that it provides more security and safety for the women travelers.

Curtains spell romance - pretty, flimsy, sheer curtains that sway with the breeze, light ones in lovely pastel shades that leave you feeling calm and relaxed. Of course, you should also have those heavy drapes to guard your privacy.
Indulge the senses
Romance is about titillating the senses and the sense of smell is important. Spraying room freshener is passe. Opt for fragrances of incense sticks, scented sachet, aromatic candles in lavender, vanilla, and camomile etc. Go and have fun doing up your bedroom!
